TIGHT END OPTIONS IN FREE AGENCY

NUMBER 2 – C.J. UZOMAH

C.J. Uzomah should be a popular free agent candidate this offseason, so the Chiefs might not be able to land him. He was never a big time star in Cincinnati, but for what the Chiefs would need him for, he’d be perfect.

The first three years of his career were forgettable, but after the injury to Tyler Eifert, Uzomah was propelled into a starting role for the Bengals. He finished the 2018 season with 43 receptions for 439 yards and three touchdowns in 15 starts.

Uzomah would be perfect in Kansas City because he spent the first three years in Cincinnati as a reserve player. He’s used to not being in the starting spotlight and the Chiefs have their starting option in Travis Kelce.

Pairing Uzomah with Kelce at tight end would be a deadly duo at tight end. There’s one more option I’d like to see more however.
