Miami Dolphins

Pick: 13

Current Quarterback: Ryan Tannehill (for now)

The Dolphins, like the Bengals, have a new head coach, and like the Lions, he comes from the Belichick tree of coaches.

So if Brian Flores and the Miami front office decide to move on from the oft-injured, underwhelming Ryan Tannehill, drafting his replacement at 13th overall would be ideal. Because otherwise, the Dolphins would be stuck with the likes of Brock Osweiler.

That would be less than ideal.

Would Haskins or Murray still be around at 13? Probably not. Would Lock? There’s definitely more of a chance of that happening.

However, for the Dolphins to get their quarterback of the future this first round, they may have to trade up. Dan Patrick mentioned on his show on Wednesday how the Dolphins need to do whatever it takes to draft Oklahoma’s Kyler Murray, but if they don’t get him, Lock could be their backup plan.
