The Kansas City Chiefs will host some powerhouse teams at Arrowhead Stadium, but the road opponents will be just as much of a challenge.

Last season, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs were 5-3 on the road, losing only one of those road games to a divisional rival.

Chicago Bears (12-4)

The Chicago Bears were a powerful team last season, earning a spot in the playoffs before losing in the Wildcard Round to Super Bowl 52 champions, the Philadelphia Eagles. Matt Nagy earned himself Pro Football Writers Head Coach of the Year after leading the Bears to their first division title since 2010.

Matt Nagy worked under Kansas City Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid since his days in Philadelphia, following Reid to Kansas City as quarterbacks coach. Nagy started as the Bears Head Coach last season and proved his worth to the team quickly.

That kind of inside knowledge of Reid’s playing style will be dangerous for the Chiefs, especially their offense. The Bears defense ranked in the top three in the league last season, giving up an average of fewer than 18 points per game.

That’s a tough defense to face for any team.
