The Kansas City Chiefs made an incredible run at the Super Bowl in the 2018 season. The opponents they will face next season have been released and will push the Chiefs to the limit.
The AFC West Division Champions of 2018, the Kansas City Chiefs, went 12-4 last season in a truly remarkable fashion. Looking ahead, about 200 some days, the kickoff of the 2019 season will begin a new era of Chiefs football.
MVP quarterback Patrick Mahomes will lead the team into some pretty staggering opponents, with their schedule strength rated at .520(tied for fifth hardest), according to chatsports.com.
Patrick Mahomes has drawn a lot of attention since receiving the season MVP and throwing 50 touchdowns in his first year as a starter, and Kansas City Chiefs fans are excited to see what he can do with one year under his belt. In the 2018 season, the Chiefs tied for 19th in strength of schedule.

In the upcoming season, Mahomes and company will face off against seven playoff-caliber teams and play seven games against ten-win teams.
Aside from the difficulty that the AFC West always produces, the Chiefs will face other intimidating teams this season, such as the Chicago Bears, New England Patriots, and Baltimore Ravens. These teams will not only be contenders, but could give the Chiefs a run for their money.
