The Chiefs are going to draft a running back. That is almost certain and likely not in the first two rounds.

However, once the third round hits the board, all bets are off.

Will the Chiefs view the position needing a versatile player capable of contributing in both the passing and running game while also helping on special teams? Perhaps they are going to look for a player that can develop into a lead back in the third or fourth round or a contributing type back later on.

If I had to pick, look to see what level of interest the Chiefs show in Penn State running back Miles Sanders and Temple back Ryquell Armstead. Both have the ability to contribute right away and can possibly develop into impact players if given time and coaching.
