The Chiefs are in a position to a player at a position of need if the right player is available, such as corner or safety, or perhaps they target high end developmental depth at offensive line, running back or defensive line.

They are also in a great position to move down in to the early portions of round two and add additional draft assets to help the roster depth that could use an infusion of youth and talent. Drafting as low as they are can be difficult to identify a specific player, but perhaps this helps narrow the field.

While most fans want to see the team go after defense, the team can’t ignore offense. If a great tight end, wide receiver, or running back is available at pick 29 and no great defensive player is, then yes, the Chiefs should add offensive talent.

Brett Veach needs to get this pick right and hopefully one of these needs is addressed with the 29th overall pick.

What do you think, Chiefs Kingdom? What positions do you think need help this draft season?
