RANKING EVERY MAHOMES START IN 2018

NUMBER 15 – WEEK 10 VS ARIZONA CARDINALS

When looking at completion percentages, this is actually Mahomes’ second best game from 2018. He went 21 of 28 for a 75 completion percentage and threw two touchdowns, but only threw for 249 yards, his second lowest total of the season.

The Cardinals were the worst team in the league this past season (earning the number one overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft in the process), but their defense was decent. They sacked Mahomes five times and made it tough for him to do much of anything.

Mahomes’ offensive line didn’t help him in this game, but his defense picked up the slack. They also notched five sacks and forced two turnovers against the Cardinals.

When looking back at the 2018 season and all of Mahomes’ starts, this is the game that often gets lost in the shuffle. Perhaps it was because it came against a bad team or maybe it’s due to the low yardage.

Whatever the reason may be, it’s near the bottom of this list.
