In our second 2019 NFL Mock Draft, the KC Chiefs don’t completely focus on defense. They add a few players on offense as well.

The first 2019 NFL Mock Draft conducted this offseason saw the Kansas City Chiefs attack the defense position heavily. In that draft, KC only added one offensive player, and that was at the tight end spot.

I decided to go with a different approach in the second mock draft. Using Fanspeak’s mock draft simulator and Steve from Fanspeak’s Big Board, the second Kansas City Chiefs mock draft has concluded and it has more variety than just defensive prospects.

I didn’t want to strictly go after defense because, as we all know, offense is key in the NFL. If an offense isn’t putting up points, especially in today’s NFL, the team isn’t going to be very good. So, the Chiefs can’t entirely ignore their offensive needs.

Yes, defense is big and the Chiefs not having a very good unit ultimately lost them a trip to the Super Bowl. That being said, they can’t ignore offense and so they add a fair mix of both in this mock.

Who did I have the Chiefs taking this time around? Let’s find out.
