The Kansas City Chiefs have a late pick in the first round, but they can still find a talented player with pick number 29.

Unlike last year, the Kansas City Chiefs have a first round selection this year and they need to make it count. No more can the Chiefs draft someone as a project. Their defense needs help ASAP.

The cornerbacks and other defensive players listed here could come in and help the Chiefs on that side of the ball almost from the get go. If the Chiefs opt to go with offensive players on a few of their selections, that’s okay too.

The tight end position can’t continue to be ignored and with Chris Conley likely out the door, adding another wide receiver isn’t a crazy thought. Any of the offensive players listed here would fit in well in Kansas City’s offense.
