Mizzou football all-time passing yards ranking: 5. Jeff Handy (6,959)

After Kent Kiefer graduated in 1990, Jeff Handy stepped in and spent the next four seasons with the Missouri Tigers football program. Handy finished his four-year MU career with 6,959 yards, 39 touchdowns, and 30 interceptions.

Handy’s best season in Columbia came as a sophomore in 1992. That year saw him throw for 2,463 yards, 13 touchdowns, and eight picks. Mizzou was lousy that year, much like they were during Handy’s entire career, but he still is a top five passer for the program. That’s pretty impressive.

Handy played under coach Bob Stoll for his first three years and had a new head coach as a senior in 1994. Larry Smith took over head coaching duties for Missouri in Handy’s final year under center.

While his stats aren’t anything special, Jeff Handy is still sitting in the top five all-time in passing yards for the Missouri Tigers.
