Mizzou football all-time passing yards ranking: 8. Marlon Adler (5,231)

In the early to mid 1980s, Missouri was lucky to have Marlon Adler as their quarterback for four years. Adler ended his MU tenure with 5,231 passing yards and still sits in the top ten despite not having played for the Tigers since 1985.

Adler’s stats weren’t the best, but he was a consistent player. He threw for at least 1,100 yards every year, with his highest total being 1,603 yards as a sophomore in 1983. He was also a threat with his legs, especially that year, as he had 12 rushing touchdowns in that 1983 season.

Adler’s final numbers while at Mizzou were 5,231 yards, 32 touchdowns, and 44 interceptions. He also rushed for 734 yards and 21 touchdowns over four years.

Again, Marlon Adler didn’t put up crazy numbers, but he was consistent and that’s always a welcomed trait when it comes to the quarterback position.
