Mizzou football all-time passing yards ranking: 1. Chase Daniel (12,515)

The all-time leader in passing yards for Missouri is none other than Chase Daniel and if you’re at all surprised by this, you’re not a legitimate Mizzou football fan.

Daniel’s 12,515 passing yards still lead the program and despite Drew Lock putting up the kind of numbers he did, Daniel still sits at the top. It’s going to take a phenom at quarterback to take down Daniel’s record.

Chase Daniel entered the Missouri football program in 2005 and didn’t see the field much as a freshman. His sophomore year was when we were all introduced to the future star, as he threw for 3,527 yards, 28 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions.

The next year, Mizzou was one of the best teams in the nation, finishing the year at 12-2 with a 7-1 record in the Big 12. Daniel threw for 4,306 yards, 33 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions and was a Heisman Trophy finalist (he’d finish in fourth for the trophy).

The next year was a bit of a letdown, but the Tigers still went 10-4 and Daniel threw for 4,335 yards, 39 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions.

Chase Daniel is not only the all-time leader in passing yards for MU, but he’s the best quarterback to ever take snaps for them. When fans look back at the best times for the program, it came during Daniel’s tenure. It’ll take a long time for someone to knock him out of the top spot in all-time passing yards.
