GOOD: PATRICK MAHOMES IN SECOND HALF

It’s hard to win football games when the offense can’t score. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs were held scoreless in the first half, but Showtime came to life in the second half.

He finished the night going 16 of 31 for 295 yards and three touchdowns with nearly all of that damage coming in the second half. Mahomes looked a bit rattled in the first half and overthrew some guys, but he settled after half time and looked like the quarterback we all knew and loved this season.

The worst part of this loss, other than the loss itself of course, was that Mahomes didn’t even get to take the field in overtime. The Chiefs lost because their defense couldn’t get a stop and Mahomes didn’t get a chance to win the game. That sucks.

Mahomes might have lost this battle, but we should all be ecstatic moving forward because it looks like this kid is the real freaking deal, Chiefs Kingdom.
