UGLY: PASS RUSH

Because I’m in a terrible mood after watching the refs blow that game, I’m putting in another ugly entry. That entry belongs to the Kansas City Chiefs pass rush.

You want to know what the pass rush did to make the ugly segment? They did nothing. No sacks. No strip fumbles. Nothing. The one time any of the Chiefs defenders laid a hand on Brady, they had a roughing the passer penalty called on them (see last slide).

In a season where their pass rush was fantastic and always a force to be reckoned with, they did nothing in the biggest game for the organization in 25 years. Justin Houston didn’t even come close to Brady and neither did Dee Ford.

What a disappointing end for both of those guys if this was indeed their final game as members of the Chiefs.
