REASONS TO BE SCARED IN DIVISIONAL ROUND

NUMBER 2 – RUN GAME

I debated switching this and Andrew Luck around, but with how bad the Chiefs run defense has been, this felt appropriate. Marlon Mack ran all over the Texans defense, to the tune of 148 yards and a touchdown. He averaged 6.2 yards per carry.

The Colts finished the day with 200 yards rushing and were able to constantly wind the clock by running the ball. That’s been the Chiefs’ Achilles Heel all season long (actually last year too) and Chiefs fans have to know that the Colts are going to attack them on the ground.

With the Chiefs finishing the 2018 season ranked 27th in rushing yards allowed per game, I don’t blame anyone for doubting this team’s inability to stop the run come Saturday. The Chiefs will have to make a key stop or too and if they can slow down Mack and the Colts run game, they have a good shot to win and advance.
