Los Angeles Chargers (12-4 record, 5th overall seed)

Like the Ravens, the Chargers have a brand of football that can get tricky for the Chiefs. They play complimentary defense and have enough of a run game to keep the Chiefs offense off the field.

This would be the third time these two teams would meet this year so familiarity factors in on both sides.

It’s no secret how the Chiefs need to beat this team. They have to get home with pass rush studs Chris Jones, Dee Ford, and Justin Houtson. The Ravens somewhat exposed the right side of the Chargers offensive line two weeks ago, pressuring Philip Rivers in the pocket and sacking him three times.

The pressure also forced Rivers into two costly interceptions and the Ravens were able to hold the Chargers to just 198 total yards on offense, their worst performance since 2014.

Los Angeles then followed that up with a ho-hum performance in Denver last week to round out their season. It’s hard to get a read on this team right now, but if they came into Arrowhead again, I like the Chiefs to be motivated for revenge.
