GOOD: HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE, BABY!

The Kansas City Chiefs put themselves in a good position throughout the season, but after losing back to back games, they were forced to play their starters in week 17.

The Chiefs didn’t take much time to calm the fanbase down, taking a 14-0 lead early on and led 21-3  at half time. Blowing the doors off of Oakland was huge because the two losses to Los Angeles and Seattle were starting to bring in a wave of panic amongst Chiefs fans.

Now, the Chiefs have won their third straight AFC West title and the road to the Super Bowl in the AFC goes through Arrowhead Stadium.

The Chiefs have a week off to rest and see what happens with the four AFC teams participating in Wild Card weekend. They can host any team except for Houston in the divisional round with the potential opponents being Baltimore, Los Angeles, or Indianapolis.

All three of those teams can put up points, so the Chiefs defense will have to be able to make key stops when necessary.

For now, however, let’s sit back, relax, and enjoy the week off next weekend. Playoffs at Arrowhead are going to be awesome and we need Chiefs Kingdom to show up and be loud and proud in two weeks!
