ALL-TIME LEADERS IN RECEIVING YARDS FOR NEBRASKA FOOTBALL

NUMBER 11 – MATT DAVISON (1,456)

HUSKER WIDE RECEIVER FROM 1997-2000

Matt Davison might be known by younger Nebraska fans as part of Scott Frost’s staff, currently serving as the Associate Athletic Director, but most people remember Davison and Frost for something else. Does the Flea Kicker ring a bell?

The Flea Kicker is definitely what most people remember Matt Davison for, but he finished his Husker career with 93 receptions for 1,456 yards and six touchdowns, good for 11th all-time in program history.

Davison’s career high in yardage was in 1999 when he had 441 yards, but his touchdown career high was as a senior in 2000 with three trips to the end zone.

As mentioned previously, Matt Davison is still a huge part of Nebraska and continues to be a big time provider to the program. He’s just shy of the top ten in all-time receiving yards.
