BAD: PENALTIES

This team can’t get out of their own way, once again racking up penalty after penalty.

One of the ugliest penalties was when Jordan Lucas ran into Seahawks kicker Sebastian Janikowski. Seabass had missed the attempt, but got to kick it five yards closer the next time around where he connected that time.

Every Chiefs loss this year has been a close game and if just one or two penalties were removed from those games, maybe the end result would be different.

Yes, the defense is awful, but the penalties are going to be something that sinks this team come playoff time. Until the Chiefs can play a fairly clean game and not have yellow flags thrown at them consistently, I’m going to be a nervous Nancy watching this team week in and week out.
