The Kansas City Chiefs lost to Seattle on Sunday Night Football and fall to 11-4 on the year. They’ve lost back to back games for the first time in 2018 and now have to win next week in order to secure both the division and number one seed.

Sunday night’s game was interesting, as the Kansas City Chiefs hung in there until the end. Unfortunately, they were on the wrong side of things once again in primetime action, moving to 0-4 this year.

This was a sloppy performance by Kansas City and fans will point to that when others start to panic. My response to those fans is that this is the type of atmosphere and environment the Chiefs will be playing in next month and they haven’t done well in those spots so far.

With the loss, week 17 is now meaningful for the Chiefs and the starters won’t get to rest against the Raiders. Let’s take a look at the good, the bad, and the ugly from Sunday night’s loss.

GOOD: DAMIEN WILLIAMS

Damien Williams has been solid since sliding into the starting running back role for the Chiefs. He had a great performance in Seattle, rushing the ball for over 100 yards and also catching a touchdown pass in the first quarter.

The running back situation could have gone downhill big time after all of the drama, but Williams has stepped in and played well during his time at the helm. He’ll be a big part of the offense moving forward and will be key to winning the division and playing to their seed next month.
