KANSAS CITY CHIEFS CHRISTMAS WISH LIST

NUMBER 4 – MEDIOCRE SECONDARY

Even a mediocre secondary would be better than what the Chiefs are currently working with right now. Eric Berry made a big difference in his limited action in the Thursday night game against LA, but after he was pulled for the remainder of the game, the secondary crumbled big time.

Kendall Fuller has been okay, but the rest of the corners leave something to be desired. Orlando Scandrick and Steven Nelson have both struggled and the safeties haven’t been much better. Ron Parker, Eric Murray, and Daniel Sorensen just make us all that much more grateful for Eric Berry.

In today’s NFL, being able to limit the pass is important and the Chiefs haven’t been able to do that. With just a mediocre secondary, this team would be a surefire Super Bowl contender.

Come on Santa! Give the Chiefs even just a mediocre secondary for Christmas.
