The Chiefs defense has been better since their horrid stretch at the start of the year, but I don’t like them this week. We’ve seen that KC is able to get after the quarterback and force turnovers, but what they’re not able to do is prevent teams from putting up a ton of points.

This game has a good chance of being a shootout and if it is, that means points are going to be hard to come by in fantasy for KC’s defense.

Philip Rivers threw three picks at Arrowhead last year in primetime, but he’s only turned the ball over six times thus far in 2018. The odds aren’t great for him to have multiple picks on Thursday simply because he’s taking care of the ball as well as he ever has in his career.

While the Chiefs should be able to apply pressure on Rivers, they’re not a good option to start this week in what should be an offensive heavy game.
