The Kansas City Chiefs won a nail biter on Sunday afternoon over the Baltimore Ravens to move to 11-2 on the year. What was good, what was bad, and what was ugly in the narrow victory?

Wow, what a game! While some might say the Kansas City Chiefs‘ game over the Rams was the best in a long time, I’d actually say this match-up over the Baltimore Ravens was better. Yes, the right outcome happened, but there was actually defense played in this game and that ended up being the difference.

Let’s take a look at the good, the bad, and the ugly from the 27-24 overtime win over the now 7-6 Baltimore Ravens.

GOOD: LATE GAME DEFENSE

I know, I’m surprised as you! In the most high pressure situations, however, the Chiefs defense stepped up and boy did they ever! The Ravens had a chance to drive down the field and win the game with a field goal, but the defense smothered Lamar Jackson and as a result, he fumbled the football. Justin Houston jumped on top of it from there.

Then, in overtime, Jackson and the Ravens were driving to either tie things up or win it with a touchdown. The Chiefs prevented Jackson from getting the job done and then had to stop Robert Griffin III on two plays in order to close things out. They did just that.

I’ve been tough on the defense this year, but they got the good guys the win on Sunday. Way to go D!
