GOOD: TOUGHNESS OF PATRICK MAHOMES

It’s never an easy situation when a good player is essentially kicked off the team, but Patrick Mahomes handled it like he’d been through it before. It was reported on Sunday that Mahomes had a players only meeting to talk his teammates up after the rough weekend of news.

This, along with his play on Sunday, earned him a spot in the good. Mahomes had some accuracy issues against the Raiders, but he ended the day with 295 passing yards and four touchdowns. He didn’t turn the ball over and wasn’t sacked.

Mahomes also took the ball himself nine times and rushed for 52 yards, which led the team on Sunday. He showed once again that he’s a prize and Chiefs fans should be fortunate to have this kid wearing the Arrowhead on his helmet.
