The Cowboys defense has been one of the best units in the league over the last few weeks. Why then, am I suggesting sitting them then? If you have to ask me that question, you clearly haven’t been watching the Saints offense this season.
New Orleans has torched their last four opponents and only appear to be getting hotter as the weeks go on. Dallas does provide arguably the toughest task for the Saints since they faced the Vikings, but going up against Drew Brees, Alvin Kamara, Michael Thomas, and countless others wouldn’t make me trust the Dallas D.
Also, last week’s defensive output by the ‘Boys was definitely helped by them facing backup quarterback Colt McCoy. Drew Brees is a much tougher challenge, so I’d leave that Dallas defense on the bench this week.
