It turns out that all Amari Cooper needed was a change of scenery, as he’s been a great addition to the Cowboys offense. Cooper went off in front of the home crowd last Thanksgiving to the tune of eight catches for 180 yards and two touchdowns.
This week, the secondary should be a little more up for the challenge, though it is worth noting that New Orleans’ secondary is vulnerable to big plays from wide receivers. They allowed big games to the Rams receivers a few weeks ago and Cooper very well could put up similar numbers as those guys.
Something else to keep in mind is that the Saints are very good at putting up points and the Cowboys might be playing catch-up for a good portion of the evening. If that’s the case, Dak Prescott is going to be throwing the football more than he’d care to.
If Prescott is throwing the ball, you better believe Amari Cooper is going to be the main guy that he’s targeting. Get Coop in your lineups for this battle.
