Mark Ingram falls in the “Uh yeah, duh you should start him” category, but like I mentioned on the last slide, there aren’t many Saints that aren’t in that category. Ingram has been tremendous since returning from his suspension and while he’s still someone to start, there are some worries.
For one, Alvin Kamara is obviously the go-to guy at running back for the Saints. Ingram still gets plenty of carries, but when push comes to shove, Kamara is probably getting the ball in the biggest moment.
Second, Dallas’ run defense is pretty good. That could limit both Kamara and Ingram to having untraditional numbers for what their fantasy owners are used to seeing.
Even with those two things in mind, however, it’d be tough actually a guy on the hottest offense in the entire league. Keep Mark Ingram in your starting lineup for this Thursday night rumble.
