The Kansas City Chiefs are coming off their bye week, but prior to that, who were the most disappointing players on this 9-2 team?

While the Kansas City Chiefs haven’t had a ton to complain about so far this season, there have been some disappointing players throughout the first 11 games of the year. Let’s take a look at the most disappointing Chiefs through the bye week.

MOST DISAPPOINTING CHIEFS THROUGH BYE WEEK

NUMBER 5: JUSTIN HOUSTON

Justin Houston has played better recently, but the issue with Houston has always been his inability to stay healthy. The former third round pick has appeared in seven out of 11 games this year and has notched four sacks.

After signing the massive contract that he did, Houston has failed to live up to the hype. Four sacks is a far cry from that 22 sack performance he had in 2014 and he hasn’t even come close to those numbers since inking that deal.

Still, this defense is much better with Houston in the lineup so if he’s considered a disappointing player, most Chiefs fans will take that kind of production. Houston did have a big play last week and has been solid ever since returning. The Chiefs will need that type of play every week from Justin Houston if they want to go far in the playoffs.
