ROYALS ALL-TIME LEADERS IN RBI: NUMBER 4 – FRANK WHITE (886)
ROYALS SECOND BASEMAN FROM 1973-1990
We’re getting into the legendary Royals at this point, with number four being the best Royals second baseman of all-time in Frank White. White spent his entire 18-year career in Kansas City and is still high up in the record books because of that.
White finished his storied KC career with 886 RBI, 160 home runs, and a slash line of .255/.293/383. He won eight Gold Glove Awards and went to five All-Star games during his nearly two decade long career.
It wasn’t an easy task replacing Cookie Rojas, a beloved player for the Royals, at second base, but Frank White not only did so, but did a better job at the position. White was durable, having played in less than 100 games just four times in his 18-year career.
When it comes to all-time Royals legends, Frank White is almost always near the top of that list. He’s still fourth all-time in most RBIs by a Royal and won’t be dethroned for a very long time.
