The Kansas City Chiefs have just five games remaining in 2018 and that stands between them and a fourth straight playoff appearance. Let’s rank these games by difficulty.

When the 2018 schedule for the Kansas City Chiefs was first announced, the most notable thing was how loaded the first month of the season was and how “meh” the end of the season schedule was. Well, we’re now down to that “easier” portion of the schedule.

With five games remaining, let’s take a look at the most difficult games and rank them all from least difficult to most difficult. Two of the five games are against the same opponent, but I will list each game separately since one is at home and one is on the road.

NUMBER 5: CHIEFS VS RAIDERS (DECEMBER 30, 12:00PM)

Ever since Derek Carr joined the Raiders in 2014, the Chiefs have gone 4-0 against the black and silver at Arrowhead Stadium. Nearly all of those games have been blowouts too, meaning Carr doesn’t fare well at Arrowhead and neither do the Raiders in general.

This will be the final game of the season and honestly might not even matter for the Chiefs. If that’s the case, we could be seeing the likes of Chad Henne, Spencer Ware, Chris Conley, and Demarcus Robinson leading the way on offense.

If, however, the Chiefs have a slip-up in any of their other four games, the season finale against the Raiders could be quite meaningful. Patrick Mahomes somehow has played the Broncos three times already in his 12 NFL starts, but has yet to face the hated Oakland Raiders. He should be able to handle them one would think.

Hopefully this game isn’t meaningful and the Chiefs can rest their starters heading into the playoffs. That’d give them two weeks off.
