REASONS FOR K-STATE FANS TO BE THANKFUL

ATHLETIC DIRECTOR GENE TAYLOR

Gene Taylor has shown a willingness to not rock the boat, but has shown confidence in himself and certainly appears confident in his position. He has not backed away or been shy about talking to the media, Taylor is up front and out front of the Wildcats athletics programs.

More from Kansas State Wildcats

There is a distinct possibility Taylor will have to make a major coaching hire in the coming weeks with the football program having the season it has this year. Whomever takes over if that is indeed the outcome, Wildcat fans should feel confident the best candidate for the position has been hired and will take over the program.

Much more on Taylor will be learned as he goes through coaching searches and works that process. For now, fans should be thankful to have him in Manhattan.

CONCLUSION

K-State fans are some of the best in all of college sports and that’s definitely something to be thankful for. Football hasn’t gone great for the Wildcats this year, but there is a lot of optimism for the basketball program as they try to replicate their success from a season ago.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
