REASONS FOR K-STATE FANS TO BE THANKFUL

THE FANS

Every fan base is unique and that certainly is true at Kansas State. Perhaps no fan base cares more about the steak and less about sizzle at the major college sports level than Kansas State. Perhaps it’s the agricultural background of many of the fans, but as long as their Cats win on the field or court and they don’t embarrass the university, fans are all on board.

Perhaps no fan base travels better than Kansas State when it comes to bowl games. The Wildcat fan base has become a tour de force when it comes to filling the stadiums they play in, be it traveling to Dallas or San Diego or New York. Opposing teams have seen the effect of Wildcat fans traveling and filling their stadiums, decked out in purple and white.

One of the cooler parts of the K-State fandom is the Wabash Cannonball and seeing the students at the games taking part in it. It might look a little goofy to non-K-State fans, but for those who bleed purple and and white, it’s a tradition and one that makes the fans second to none in college athletics.
