NEW ORLEANS SAINTS VS ATLANTA FALCONS

START ‘EM

The Saints are one of those teams where nearly all of their offensive players should be in your starting lineups come kickoff. The only one I’d understand being skeptical about is rookie Tre’Quan Smith, but you should lose that skepticism and start him this week.

Smith had no targets two weeks ago against the Bengals (yes, even with 50+ points scored), but went off last week against the Eagles. With a poor Atlanta secondary visiting the Big Easy on Turkey Day, Smith should eat during the game.

Matt Ryan and Calvin Ridley are my Start ‘Em options for Atlanta this week. Ryan didn’t have a great performance against the Cowboys last week, but that defense is better than New Orleans’. Expect a bounce back game from Ryan against the Saints.

Calvin Ridley is hit or miss, but the Saints secondary can be easily exposed. Ridley destroyed the Saints the last time the two met up in week three to the tune of 146 yards and three touchdowns. While New Orleans’ defense has improved since then, Ridley is still worth taking a chance on.
