DETROIT LIONS VS CHICAGO BEARS

START ‘EM

These are my Start ‘Em candidates for the early game. From the Lions, Kenny Golladay and the defense/special teams and for the Bears, Jordan Howard and Anthony Miller are Start ‘Em options.

Golladay has been great this year and had a tremendous performance last week in a win against Carolina. The Lions wideout had success against the Bears just a few weeks ago and should be able to do some work against them.

The Lions defense normally wouldn’t be a unit I’d advise to start, but with Mitchell Trubisky doubtful in this one, that sets Detroit’s defense up for a decent game against backup quarterback Chase Daniel. They should get a few picks and get some pressure on the former Mizzou product.

With Daniel starting for Da Bears, Matt Nagy will likely turn to running the ball as much as possible. That puts both Tarik Cohen and Jordan Howard in prime starting positions. Cohen has been the go-to guy, but Howard will get his fair share of opportunities this week.

Lastly, Anthony Miller could be boom or bust. While this game could be low scoring, Miller has been great in the red zone and Daniel will definitely be looking his way.
