The Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Los Angeles Rams in an insane shootout that we might not see again for a long time. The Chiefs lost 54-51 and fall to 9-2 on the year.

From turnovers to bad defense to penalties galore, this game came down to the wire, but the Kansas City Chiefs couldn’t pull out the win. It sure felt like a winnable game though, as it was 30-30 at half time and mayhem continued in the second half.

With over 100 points scored and the Chiefs putting up over nearly 550 total yards on offense, how could you not have enjoyed this one? I know the end result wasn’t ideal, but Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense put on a show and it was fun (and frustrating at times) to watch.

Even with this loss, the Chiefs are still 9-2 heading into the bye week. They’re still one and a half games up in the AFC West, but now they have the same amount of losses as the Steelers and only one less loss than the Patriots. It certainly would have been nice to continue adding some cushion between the other AFC contenders.

With one of the more exhilarating Monday night games of the season in the books, let’s take a look at the good, the bad, and the ugly from the loss to the Rams. With this game getting over so late, this will be one of the shorter editions of Good, Bad, and Ugly.
