The Chiefs are getting healthier, with Justin Houston and Daniel Sorensen returning after extended absences. The Chiefs pass rush has been dominant, having been tied with for the league lead heading into their game Monday.

The Chiefs defense has seemed to find itself. Over the past month, the Chiefs have allowed only 17 points per game in four games. In that same span for the Rams, they are allowing 28.2 points per game.

The Rams may have more talent on paper, but the Chiefs are playing better at this point in the season. Dee Ford and Chris Jones have 17 sacks between them, leading the way for Kansas City, and the Chiefs secondary has started tightening up lately.

It will be interesting to see how they manage to play against a Rams offense that can go off at any time, and this test will show if the Chiefs defense has actually turned around, or if they have just been feasting on weaker offenses. Still, based on recent performances, I am going to give the edge to the Chiefs.
