GREG HOLLAND (RELIEVER/CLOSER)

Greg Holland needs no introduction amongst Royals fans. He is the well-known member of the HDH bullpen that the Royals rode to the World Series in 2014. After spending 2017 in Colorado, Holland spent a short, terrible stint in St. Louis before he was released.

Holland spent the second half of the season with the Washington Nationals and did remarkably better in the nation’s captial than in the Gateway to the West. Has Holland found a little bit of what made him successful with the Royals and then with the Rockies that would allow the under sized relief pitcher to find success in 2018?

Much will depend on what Holland is looking for salary and what his arm looks like. If he’s good to go physically and the two sides can find a salary figure that works for both, perhaps Holland and the Royals could find a way to have a reunion.
