ADAM WARREN (RELIEVER)

Adam Warren has spent time with the Yankees twice and with the Cubs as a swing starter and multi-inning relief pitcher. Warren split the 2018 season between the Yankees and Mariners this past season and could be a decent option for the Royals moving forward.

He’s a nice, solid depth in the bullpen type of arm that has recently turned 31 years of age. With much of the bullpen in flux, a multi-inning relief pitcher could be a nice addition to an untested group of bullpen arms.

Warren, who has been and seen a lot of big games and tight moments could possibly be a positive influence on arms in the bullpen. While he’s a little older than what the Royals would prefer, Warren could be that veteran presence in the bullpen and help mentor some of the younger guys.
