START ‘EM – TE

Tight End. Colts. Jack Doyle. 4. player. 46.

Jack Doyle was probably the only Colts tight end that didn’t find the end zone last week, as it was a tight end party. For what it’s worth, he came awfully close to scoring and it’s apparent that Andrew Luck still likes to throw the ball his way.

The Titans defense is one of the best in the league, so this might seem like an odd Start ‘Em suggestion. Tennessee really hasn’t played many tough tight ends though and that’s why the Colts bring something new to the table this week.

The one tough tight end Tennessee  has faced this year was Zach Ertz of the Eagles and he went off that day for ten catches and 112 yards. Doyle isn’t exactly on Ertz’s level and he’s competing with Eric Ebron for targets, but if there’s a week to play him, it’s this week against the Titans in a big game.

Even if that performance were split up between Doyle and Ebron, it’s still a good day for both tight ends. Get Jack Doyle in your lineup this week.
