START ‘EM – QB

player. 123. . Quarterback. Cowboys. Dak Prescott. 1

Normally I wouldn’t advocate starting Dak Prescott, as he hasn’t looked like that same guy we saw during his rookie season in 2016. This week, however, Prescott is an attractive starting option for those who might have their quarterback on a bye week.

Prescott has looked better recently and is showing more confidence with throwing the ball. Having a legitimate wide receiver in Amari Cooper has appeared to do wonders for him, but wait! There’s more.

This week, Prescott faces an absolutely dreadful Atlanta defense that has been getting shredded this season. The Falcons weren’t supposed to be this bad defensively, but they’ve lost a lot of players due to injuries and it’s showed.

With Prescott looking like he’s heating up and a bad secondary on the schedule this weekend, this is as good a week as any to have the Cowboys signal caller as your QB1.
