SIT ‘EM

49. . D/ST. Packers. Green Bay D/ST. 3. player

The Packers defense showed up big last week, destroying Brock Osweiler to the tune of six sacks, an interception, and recovering a fumble. It was a great game for Green Bay’s defense, but don’t chase the points with the Pack in week 11.

While this week gives Green Bay another opportunity to get some sacks, they’re so inconsistent and that makes it difficult to have them as a staple in your starting lineup. One week, the Pack will get 21 points and the next week, they’re in the negatives. They’ve had just three respectable outings this year and two of those saw them post double digit points.

On a short week in a loud and rowdy stadium, the Packers defense doesn’t seem like a respectable unit in week 11. Keep them on the bench for Thursday Night Football.
