START ‘EM

Packers. Marquez Valdes-Scantling. 4. player. 49. . Wide Receiver

Some might be wondering who Marquez Valdes-Scantling even is, but he’s done okay in the Packers offense. MVS has put up two 100+ yard receiving games and is looking like someone fantasy footballers can actually lean on.

Seattle has struggled against slot receivers and that’s where Valdes-Scantling will likely be placed in this match-up. Even if Randall Cobb does play, MVS is set up to have a big game in Seattle.

Fantasy Pros backs that up, stating,

"If there’s one area of the field where the Seahawks have struggled, it’s covering slot receivers, as Emmanuel Sanders tagged them for 10/135/1, Cooper Kupp for 6/90/1, and Keenan Allen for 6/124/0. Those account for three of the four top four performances allowed by the Seahawks this season."

He might not be a big name, but if you can still pick up the rookie out of South Florida, he’d be a solid waiver wire addition this week.
