It wasn’t long ago when the Kansas City Chiefs were a very inconsistent franchise. Andy Reid has turned them into perennial winners, but that’s not good enough anymore. Fans are ready for more!

When the 2012 season wrapped up, Kansas City Chiefs fans were just hoping their team could not be a laughing stock anymore. It seemed like the team was on the right path when Andy Reid was hired to be the next head coach of the Chiefs after that ugly 2012 season.

Reid instantly made the Chiefs better, transforming them from a 2-14 team to an 11-5 squad that ended up making the playoffs in 2013. Not only that, but the Chiefs got off to a 9-0 start and took advantage of weaker teams, something they hadn’t always been able to do prior to Reid coming in.

Even with that epic collapse in the postseason in 2013, it really was nice just being back in the game. Not many Chiefs fans predicted the team to make it far anyway, so it wasn’t the end of the world by any means (though it still does sting a bit to this day).

The 2014 season was the only year in which the Andy Reid-led Chiefs didn’t make the playoffs though it sure looked like 2015 would have a similar result. That was the year in which the team got off to a 1-5 start and looked left for dead.

Instead, the Chiefs ripped off ten straight wins in the regular season to finish at 11-5. They’d fall short of the AFC West title, but went on to win their first playoff game in two decades. That right there was the icing on the cake in that 2015 season, as it was a rare sight for Chiefs fans.
