UGLY: ALLOWING ANOTHER RUNNING BACK TO HAVE BIG RECEIVING GAME

We saw the Browns capitalize on this last week with Nick Chubb shredding the Chiefs in the receiving game, so it’s no wonder the Cardinals took a page of Cleveland’s playbook. Running back David Johnson was a huge playmaker on Sunday in both the run game and the receiving game.

Johnson totaled seven receptions for 85 yards and a touchdown against the Chiefs with a long of 24 yards. The Chiefs had no answer when it came to stopping Johnson and teams are going to take notice of this and really use it against them.

If you thought Chubb and Johnson were lethal against the Chiefs at making plays through the air, look who KC plays next week. Todd Gurley is better than any running back in the league at catching the football and making plays, so if the Chiefs defense doesn’t figure this out, they could be in BIG trouble next week.
