GOOD: PASS RUSH

The pass rush came to play on Sunday! The Chiefs defense sacked rookie Josh Rosen five times and looked like they could have hit the quarterback all day long.

Chris Jones in particular had a good day, notching two of the five sacks on Rosen. Allen Bailey, Dee Ford, and Ron Parker had the other three sacks. The Chiefs defense hasn’t been great this year, but the pass rush has been so much better than a season ago.

At the end of the day, Rosen was sacked five times and hit 13 times. The rookie quarterback out of UCLA looked rattled and it was no wonder he was trying to get rid of the ball quickly, as the Chiefs were just destroying the Cardinals offensive line and putting constant pressure on him.

In order for the Chiefs to make a legitimate playoff run, the pass rush will have to continue playing like this. Can they keep it up?
