SIT ‘EM

Panthers. Curtis Samuel. 3. player. 87. . Wide Receiver

Curtis Samuel had a big game a week ago, but I’d advise against chasing the points. Before his game against the Bucs (most of which came off of one play), Samuel hadn’t been all that productive, scoring double digit fantasy points in one other game.

The ability for Samuel to put up points through the air or on the ground makes him an interesting player for fantasy footballers, but don’t bank on big production from the former Buckeye weekly. He’s been mostly underwhelming this season.

Samuel has just eight receptions in five games and has shown he’s not a reliable enough target for Cam Newton. I get picking him up off the waiver wire, but between Christian McCaffrey, Devin Funchess, rookie D.J. Moore, and Greg Olsen, there might not be enough targets to go around for Samuel.

Keep Curtis Samuel on the bench for this Thursday night rumble.
