UGLY: PENALTIES

This was just plain gross, as the Chiefs racked up 11 penalties for 86 yards. That cannot happen, as those mistakes can kill a team come playoff season. Anthony Hitchens had an ugly penalty that came on a third down stop, which gave Cleveland an automatic first down. Those can’t happen.

Now, I will say that the flag thrown on Mahomes at the end of the half for intentional grounding was total crap. Even without that penalty, however, the Chiefs still have ten on the day and that’s unacceptable. This team needs to get more disciplined because these mistakes will come back to bite you in the big games.

UGLY: COVERING DUKE JOHNSON

The Chiefs had no answer when it came to stopping Duke Johnson. Johnson is a running back, but the Browns knew the Chiefs couldn’t slow him down so they kept throwing to him, which gave him 78 receiving yards and two touchdowns off of nine receptions. Not okay.
