Nebraska football is on a two-game winning streak and will look to make it three wins in a row. That won’t come easy, however, as the Cornhuskers get the tenth ranked team in the country in Ohio State.

A few weeks ago if you had told me that Nebraska football was traveling to Ohio State and thought they had a chance of winning, I’d have told you that you’re crazy. While it’s still highly unlikely that the Huskers roll into the horseshoe and leave with a victory, it’s not nearly as crazy of a thought now.

For one, Nebraska got their first win of the season and that right there takes a lot of pressure off of anyone’s shoulders. They also got win number two last week, blowing out Bethune-Cookman of the MEAC. The Huskers should be coming off a bye this week, but this game was scheduled due to the initial season opener being canceled.

Ohio State is coming off their bye, however, and they’ve had a lot of time to sit and stew over the last time audiences got to watch them. For those of you who don’t remember – the Buckeyes not only lost to Purdue, they got DESTROYED by the Boilermakers. It was a 49-20 Purdue victory two weeks ago in West Lafayette and now Ohio State has to win out to have any chances of making it to the College Football Playoff.

So, what should Nebraska fans be watching for this week? Let’s take a look.
