Fantasy Football 2018: Start Em, Sit Em for Week 9
SIT ‘EM – WR
It’s a new city and a new team for Amari Cooper and the former Raiders wideout should be well-rested now after having two bye weeks in a row (one with Oakland and one with Dallas). Even with those two weeks off, Cooper isn’t someone to thrust into the starting lineup just because he’s out of Oakland.
Cooper was traded for many reasons, but one of the main ones was his inconsistencies as a Raider. Having Cooper on your fantasy team is frustrating because you never know which Amari Cooper is showing up on a weekly basis.
Are you getting the Cooper that put up over 200 yards receiving against Kansas City last year? Or are you getting the Cooper we’ve seen frequently this year who can’t muster up much of anything?
All of that thrown in with Cooper having to learn a new offense, Dak Prescott not being the most reliable passer, and the Titans providing a tough secondary makes Cooper an easy Sit ‘Em candidate in his inaugural game as a Cowboy. If he does well, then hey… Maybe he did just need a change of scenery.
