Wait, what? Start the Chiefs defense? Yes, I’m going there!

This could be risky, given how shaky the Chiefs defense has been this season, but they haven’t been as bad recently and get a favorable match-up this week in Cleveland with the Browns.

What makes the Chiefs an even better option for fantasy purposes is that they’ve been forcing turnovers, notching sacks, and like I mentioned a bit ago, not giving up points as often. With a rookie quarterback on tap this weekend, this defense could really eat.

Yes, it’s risky, but with some decent defenses on byes this week, the Chiefs are worthy of a waiver wire pickup. If nothing else, you can always drop them after this game, but I like their chances against Baker Mayfield and a Browns team that fantasy defenses have fared well against.
